Bangladesh vs Afghanistan Highlights, One-off Test Day 1 at Dhaka

     Bangladesh vs Afghanistan :  Bangladesh players have been urged to forget about the mystery Afghanistan side and focus on their strengths for their one-off test starting on Wednesday. Najmul Hossain hit his third century as  Bangladesh  dominated Afghanistan’s bowlers to reach 362-5 on the opening day of their one-off test on Wednesday. Najmul scored 146 off 175 balls, hitting 23 fours and two sixes, and added 212 runs with opener Mahmudul Hasan for the second wicket to disrupt Afghanistan’s plan on a hot and humid day. Mahmudul missed out his ton, being out on 76 after a knock that included nine fours. At stumps, Mehidy Hasan was batting on 43 with Mushfiqur Rahim on 41, after sharing 72 runs for the sixth wicket. Afghanistan  captain Hashmatullah Shahidi chose to bowl first after winning the toss. Netherlands finds end-of-season energy as it chases Nations League

Virgil van Dijk conceded finding the energy for the Nations League finals at the end of a long season is difficult but the  Netherlands  captain says he and his team mates feel it is a major title worthy of chasing. ASCO Reflections: In the Fight Against Cancer,

    Every year at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting, data highlighting groundbreaking therapies and innovative technologies to combat cancer are shared, addressing the significant unmet need in oncology and providing hope. This year’s conference has been no different; researchers presented more than 5,000 abstracts, showcasing leading-edge research in the race to end the country’s second-biggest killer which continues to disrupt the lives of two million people each year. Perhaps one of the most encouraging takeaways from ASCO was research showing that Medicaid expansion was linked to a decrease in mortality and racial disparities for people with gastrointestinal cancers. These data show that improving health coverage is a critical step toward addressing disparities and eradicating cancer.
